Dr. Dana Fabiani

MD, FAAMFM, ABAARM

Dr. Dana Fabiani is the founder and owner of Sarasota Wellness MD. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine. She is fellowship-trained in Anti-aging, Metabolic, and Functional Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and Metabolic Medical Institute. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition at The Ohio State University, her medical degree at The Ohio State University School of Medicine, and completed her family medicine residency at Bayfront Medical Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She relocated to Sarasota for her husband, Douglas. They have two sons, Tyler and Tanner, and a dog, Teddy.

Dr. Fabiani has professional interests in weight loss, nutrition, bioidentical hormone therapy, thyroid health, and gut health.

In her free time, Dr. Fabiani enjoys spending time with family and friends, Burn Boot Camp, outdoor activities, and gymnastics.

Dr. Jessica Teav

MD

Dr. Jessica Teav is a board-certified family medicine physician with an interest in functional and lifestyle medicine to address root causes of disease and assist patients in attaining and maintaining optimal health. She was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated summa cum laude from King College (now King University) with a double major in Biology and French and a minor in Chemistry. She completed her medical school education at USF College of Medicine, graduating as an inductee of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. After finishing her residency at Bayfront Medical Center, she spent the past decade caring for patients as a primary care physician and keeping busy as a wife and mother of four children.

Rooted in personal health experiences and those of close family members, Dr. Teav is particularly intrigued by identifying and addressing food sensitivities, autoimmune disease, and optimizing gut health and nutrition.

Her favorite pastimes include spending time with family, reading, and sewing/embroidery projects.


Kristen Krimetz

DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Kristen Krimetz is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She began her nursing career as a critical care nurse, then continued her education at Florida State University, earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Kristen gained her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is currently undergoing advanced hormone education with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is passionate about achieving and maintaining optimal wellbeing through nutrition, lifestyle changes, and functional medicine. She is a Sarasota native and enjoys the endless sunshine and salt water of Florida’s Gulf Coast.


Sakiye Wilson

Medical Assistant & Clinical Coordinator

Sakiye was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. She has her AA in general education and has over 10 years of experience as a medical assistant. She is married to Darryl and has three kids: Amiyah, Sean, and Kai. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and dancing. Sakiye is very friendly, warm, and always willing and able to help. She has expanded her knowledge in functional medicine by living the lifestyle: she has drastically changed her diet and mindset since joining the team!


Jenna Hatch

RN, BSN, Director of IV Therapy

Jenna was born and raised in and around the Tampa Bay area. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2014. Jenna moved to Sarasota in 2018 to further her career at Sarasota Memorial Hospital Cath lab prep/recovery unit where she continues to work per diem. In 2019, Jenna became a patient of Dr. Fabiani for gut health and hormone imbalances. There, she found a whole new love and appreciation for functional and preventative medicine.

Jenna started working full time as a registered nurse at our office in January of 2024, growing our IV therapy program, performing medication administration/education, and lab draws. Jenna’s goal for the office is to promote greater education and understanding of supplement and peptide therapy. She enjoys critically thinking and using her experience to assist each provider in helping our patients reach their optimal state of wellness.

Her and her husband, Stephen (a Sarasota County firefighter/EMT), live in Osprey, FL along with their twin daughters (Remi and Harper) and golden doodle puppy (Fin). She recently achieved her personal goal of joining her husband as a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Captain. In her free time, you can catch their family on the water boating, fishing, and having cookouts with friends and family.


Stephanie Crooks

Stephanie Crooks

Administrative Director & New Patient Coordinator

Stephanie was born and raised in Sarasota, FL. She received her bachelor’s degree in marine science from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2017, focusing on wildlife rehabilitation and sea turtle conservation. In 2018, she sold all of her belongings and went backpacking in Australia for 2.5 years. Toward the end of her trip, she obtained a serious shoulder injury. Her intense rehabilitation process sparked a new interest in her body and overall wellness, joining our team in September of 2021.

From coordinating new patients and managing supplements to looking for a larger location, Stephanie aims to help our practice grow into the wellness facility our community desperately needs! In her spare time, Stephanie likes to get crafty or enjoy the outdoors, always looking for somewhere new to explore.
